What movie did you last watch thread.

Watched Epic last night.

A teenager finds herself transported to a deep forest setting where a battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil is taking place. She bands together with a rag-tag group characters in order to save their world -- and ours.

The movie was cool, but there were soooooo many obvious plotholes in it that spoiled it for me, I'm a real stickler with that.

So I will give it a 6.5

Now you see me

Good. Not brilliant, but good. Enjoyed it. Was worth it. Didn't expect the ending, was a good twist:)

I agree. I thought the magicians had a lot of chemistry and it was fun to watch them interact... too bad you hardly see them later on in the movie >_>

A Haunted House

Very funny, but felt a but dragged towards the end.

Regardless, it gets an [8/10]

Elysium. Enjoyed it. A great depiction on the inequalities between the rich and the poor.
8/10 based on absolutely nothing. I just feel like giving it 8/10.

Just finished Epic.

I thought the animation was amazing, really wow. The storyline was cool as it was something different although could be compared to movies like Ant Bully.

The Slugs rocked haha. Some great voice over work by guys who know what they're doing. Really enjoyable.

8/10

Red 2. I found it to be quite confusing. The plot seems to be all over the place, and the editing in this film is somewhat poor. I just hope that the inevitable Red 3 will be better than this. John Malkovich is always good though.

oh yeah, also watched This Is The End.... man what a weird movie, but it was entertaining at least

Riddick
It was ok much like the first movie , only just a little pointless .
There is no story and by the end you don't really care , major gripe is that the whole movie it looks as though they are infront of a Painting you know like in the old school movies where they had these massive paintings to spoof a location .

I would give it a 4/10 definitely a last resort movie if you have nothing else to watch

The Iceman. Interesting because it's based on the story of the real life hitman, Richard Kuklinski. Had a few well known, if aging, stars but it was quite a solid movie in the end, despite some reservations that I had in the beginning.
