What you gaming alias says about you, according to Azimuth

I love my cheesy Latin gaming alias!!!11 I call for a boycott of Tarryn :p

I hate to break this to you, sweetheart, but "dracolusus" doesn't mean much of anything in Latin. "Draco" means "dragon", but "-lusus" isn't a legitimate inflection; alternately, "lusus" is the perfect participle of "ludere" ("to play, make love"), which would render "dracolusus" as meaning something like "the dragon that had been fucked".

:D

Azimuth caught me with point #3 :o My lazy excuse is that I was looking for some originality...

Im curious Azi , where does your Alias have its origins in?

It's a real word (azimuth). My dad designs and builds naval radar systems, so it's a word I saw everywhere when I was growing up.

I was actually tempted to include a "pretentious words" category in my article, lulz. But I took a bit of a swipe at myself in the Latin category, since my Xbox LIVE handle is a Latin expression, minus a few vowels so it's TOTALLY TRENDY.

Cool. I use to use , OmegaPhoenix but kept getting the oe order wrong so Fenix was just easier. I have this strange obsession with the mythological Phoenix so my alias evolved out of that, the 22 is just my number & Omega... I dunno guess i just like the idea of thinking of myself as being the last something. Was actually going to ask tinman to remove the 22 at the end but then he said no more name changes so there it is.

Glad to see my alias doesn't fall into any category from the list :p. In knew I should have gone with Sh4d0w L0rd 369 :(. Nice Article Tarryn.
