What you playing currently and your opinion on it

Been trying skyrim... some parts are cool but the fighting mechanics are sooooo boring. The QTE should be more integrated into the fight and not just random endings :/

And the lack of quick access bar is shameful.

I spend more time in the menu than is necessary... by the time i get back to a fight i have forgotten what I was trying to accomplish.

The questing and sandbox is pretty rad though.

Yip. And I have them assigned to numpad keys. Even mount and blade has better combat... and that is a small indie developer.

It is immense and complicated... yet some parts feel so simple and dumbed down.

Well I'd like to add to my post as I progress through Resistance 3
There is nothing quite like being in the dark with only your flashlight, facing off against hordes of Leapers, Leeches and Grims with only the sound of your Heartbeat and the slow steady drone of the Atomizer to break the silence

I can see why this game is viewed as one of the Flagship titles for the PS3, it deserves every Ounce of Credit it gets

So ive started getting heavily into Infamous as I picked up 2 recently for next to nothing and I have to say im beginning to really love this game. Just unlocked Thrusters and its super cool. Now if only NewertH players would leave me in peace to play PS3 :wtf:

So I've been playing a few games over the last bit of time and finished RAGE. Starting up RE ORC and Armored Core 5
Rage was pretty decent although the mega texture thing is incredibly flawed with texture lag throughout the whole game
The ending also pretty much botes the big one in the sense that it resolves nothing at all

Armored Core I was looking forward to but have to admit to being rather underwhelmed, will they ever make anything that rivals the original Heavy Gear and Mechwarrior Mercenraies Glory?

Half-Life 2, Episode 1 and Episode 2 with the 30GB Fakefactory Cinematic Overhaul Mod.
Absolutely fantastic in every aspect. Well worth the massive download.

Mass Effect 1 and 2. Got ME3 as a gift but decided to run through ME1 and 2 to get back into the story before I play ME3. I must honestly say that ME1's story / campaign felt a lot better than ME2. ME2 just has you run around recruiting a team with some story bits inbetween. Still a good game, but could have been better.

Luna and I just finished Diablo III on our first play through this weekend
The game was enjoyable and although there were some serious issues with the always on requirement and some in game lag I still feel that it was not a bad game in general

The storyline was a lot thinner than Diablo II's and although this was the follow on to that epic title and was always going to be tough to follow, the title somehow felt like a step backwards for the franchise

Game Mechanics are all solid but there is still something seriously missing

DayZ
Loving it thus far, very frustrating due to it still being alpha and some major bugs here and there, but otherwise it's awesome.

and Cod4 Promod. It's Cod4, and Promod. No mini review necessary

Working through my backlog at the moment
Just finished Bioshock Infinite - Gameplay is solid, storyline is decent but I have to admit to being underwhelmed by the title in general.
Somehow the feeling of isolation that was evident in the previous Bioshock titles was lost in this one, being set in a more populated city is obviously the root cause of this but between running into civilians and the incessant nattering of Elizabeth I have to admit to hoping that Irrational return to some setting resembling Rapture for the next title.

Just Started Metro Last Light, while reading the translated version of Metro 2034 and I have to admit to already liking it a lot, gameplay is more polished than in 2033 and overall it looks like this will be one of my favorite titles of 2013

Indispensable though, specifically if reading AND playing, the Official Metro Map, at least then you know what to expect between the abandoned stations and overrun battle lines of this subterranean world.

Finished two titles this last week that I've been playing on and off for the last month or so, these are my opinions on both of them.

Metro Last Light
I have to admit that I am biased when it comes to Metro, as an avid fan of the books and the original game I was looking forward to the new installment in the franchise since it was announced.
Last Light did not disappoint me in any sense. GFX have been improved, control and gameplay mechanics are smooth and the overall sound composition of the title is exactly what is should be.
The story follows after the events of Metro 2033 and fills in one or two gaps in Artyom's backstory that left everyone wondering after the first book and game.
There are a lot more surface sections than in the previous title, I would assume that with both engine and platform optimizations the developers had more opportunity to add larger environments without causing the engine to fall over.

I've heard some complaints from players who had issues with the controls but I have to admit that compared to the first installment, Last Light has a very simple controls that most players will feel at home with.

I would personally recommend the title for anyone who is either a fan of the series or is looking for an engaging FPS that is not set in the normal "Combat Zone" setting.

Second title is Injustice, yes yes I know, when I said I finished the game I meant that I finally finished the single player story.
Game dynamics are excellent and despite one or two issues i have personally with some of the characters being hopelessly overbalanced or nerfed to such an extent as to be useless I do feel that the game offers a well balanced fighting title and has some solid gameplay that although not original will satisfy anyone looking for this type of title.

Also -> Solomon Grundy > All

currently playing AC3 on Ps3.

I'm a big AC fan and this game is not bad.
I have had loads of fun in the almost 40 hours that i have played the game so far.
I'm only about 70% done with the game but i have almost finished all the side missions and faction missions available to me.

I like the part where you can hunt, track and snare all the animals in the game, except for the domesticated animals, and use that you gathered in for missions and to make some money.

The 1st 50K i made in the game was made entirely from hunting.

I would give the game 8.5/10

Been playing some Max Payne 3 as i never got to play it when it came out :( but it's freaking great! and god i hope they make another game like this!

Still Skyrim & still having fun. Kinda just running around the place so that might take a while...

Thinking of hitting my Kindle a bit harder though. Days are feeling a bit thin on the intellectual side lately.
