What you playing currently and your opinion on it

Meaning? I love Max Payne 3. Bought it on PS3 when it came out, finished it twice and traded it in. Since then I have bought it on PC, finished it a further three times and put a fair amount of time into the MP.

Currently playing Borderlands 2 again mostly. Want to get my Psycho to lvl 72 so I can go for the overlevels, but I'm currently farming the circle of slaughter in the Tiny Tina DLC to try and get a Magic Missile x4 grenade mod to use in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.

I've only played for about an hour, so I hope it gets better as you go further, but in that hour I watched about 50 minutes of boring cut scenes and had about 10 minutes of gameplay. That's not my idea of a game.

You should give it a chance man. IMO (as far as how it controls and everything) it is possibly the best third-person shooter I have ever played. Story was pretty well written as well (although a bit predictable at times). I get where you're coming from with the long cutscenes though, but it wasn't that bad. In fact, I quite enjoyed them as I love Max's monologues.
 
Max Payne 3 Forms part of my massive backlog at the moment, but your comments have been helpful in as far as determining the order that the title will be played.

Currently I'm playing Lost Planet 3 and I have to admit to being impressed by it despite the critic's opinions.
The game is solid, lots to do and a fair amount of action.
Add to that that I prefer the isolation that titles like this one offers I am really enjoying it
 
Defiance - Bought it on special on steam, 3rd person Borderlands clone with some Firefall mixed in. Not too bad so far. Going to co-op with the GF.
 
I watched the first season of Defiance and given that you are playing it now, let me guess you are one of those milky white guys?
Or are you still sticking to female ingame avatars?

Forgot to add, we introduced Doomsday to the Kinect two nights ago and although the two of us are stiff as boards from running in place he is becoming a decent "controller"
He got three strikes his first time trying bowling last night and currently holds the world record on Sports for the most cameramen destroyed by a single javelin :)

Never did make female characters again after the "Guild Wars Tea" incident. And I always play human, in every game, because I am one.....mostly.

My next title should be either Batman or Batman, depending on what Doomsday wants to play after we finish Lego LOTR
 
I know I know, but if I give that to him we will be playing it FOREVER !
So I need to get the timing right

Considering that after we finished Lego Batman 2 he had me load it onto all the iPad's in the house and we have finished the game on all of them I dread to think that they might release an iOS version of the Marvel game
 
If I can set people on fire in that game I cannot play it, it has a negative effect on both my behaviour and overall time management skills.
In FC2 I set 56 People on fire after shooting them in the kneecaps.
It felt like one or two :)
 
Then its a no go for me
I worry myself when I kneecap then and watch them burn while laughing so loud I'm in real and serious danger of wetting myself.
 
'Fraid so, so I have to keep a close watch on what I allow myself to do
I might start playing some of my backlog over December though and considering my 360S died I will have to acquire a new one to play on or else suffer the old Jasper Systems we are currently using
 
Local Municipality it seems does not care what they do to electronic devices that is not under their direct stewardship and will for no reason shut off electricity then pulse it twice before letting it come back on.
Those pulses have blown dishwashers, laptop chargers and now the Xbox (This along with any surge protection device you dare plug into a socket)
