Whats the scariest game you ever played?

the silent hill series of games also i thought the first couple of Resident evil titles(but i guess that was due to me being young when i played them)

Same here. SH4: The Room made me change my pants on many occasions. Especially those weird upside down things that sometimes just point at you. You know, the one ones in that water tower/prison for kids. Freaky.

What freaked me out most was when you were close to an enemy that sound would start playing, the screen would start becoming distorted by a kind of static and then finally one of those zombie things would come at you and stick his hand in your chest, seemingly trying to pull your heart out... Eesh...
 
The spiders and severed hands in the first Blood scared me to death when I was a kid. They always snuck up on you, and the facehugged you :(

Resident Evil II (waaaaaaaay back)
FEAR 1 (the rest blew)
Siren: Blood Curse
Dead Space 1 & 2

And strangely enough, Little Big Planet...more scary 'cos it's so damn addictive, yet simple...
 
Amnesia for certain, only game I actually caught myself screaming like a little girl during a scary encounter. By that point, I uninstalled it; no ways I'm getting grey hairs over a game. Deep Space is a close 2nd, but much more bearable.
 
That settles it, Im gonna have to get Amnesia.
I see its made by the same people who made Penumbra and that was pretty freakin scary too.
 
Amnesia, but everyone has said it.
For the sake of adding to the conversation, System Shock 2. Tried playing with the lights off, said bugger that after 5 minutues and put them back on.
 
For me personally...Amnesia. For my cousin Doom 3. He is one of the Alpha male type...screamed like a girl. Mind you with lights on and 5.1 cranked up to 11! Still make fun of the rat:D
 
It's a toss up between Half Life (First one) and Amnesia.

Damn, this game is fucking scary!!! God I still haven't finished it after playing it for like 4months :P!! The atmosphere is creates, it's unlike any other I've experienced in a game! It has this way of making you scared of opening the next door haha!!

I actually bought it for myself and Tooks... Tooks, you still chicken shit scared to play the game? :P

Half-Life

Maybe it's because I played this game as a lighty, but damn this game scared the shit outta me! It really was a scary game for me :o...
