Correct on both counts. :)

Even though they are Swedish, the name of the band and album are Greek and Latin respectively. You should give it a listen, great blend of death and thrash. I'm not much into extreme metal anymore, rather prefer atmospheric prog(ish) metal these days (ala Evergrey, Teramaze, Waken Eyes, Symphony X, Orphaned Land, Sonata Arctica, etc...)
 
Recently received my purchase of Blacklist and I love the green and black theme (cause their my favourite colours).

Also, Sam looks like a badass.
Though, if my User Title is anything to go by, it may change. :D

I definitely will take a listen. Google Play Music is there for a reason! But I'm more into prog these days, like Coheed & Cambria, Scale the Summit, Mars Volta, etc.
 
Because I like FIreeeeeEe also Witcher is badass so witcher+fire= super badass ;)

If I could change my Nick I would but I cant so its stuck now :(

Have you given any of the bands I listed a listen yet? Just listen to Dean Wells' noodling on the latest Teramaze album, Her Halo. One of the best modern guitarists out there, imho. He's not an Ernie Ball poster boy for nothing... The incredibly young Nathan Peachy's vocals aren't to be snarked at either.

And Waken Eyes is just incredible. Hell, any album with Mike Le Pond on bass is a sure-fire hit. That's why I lurve me some Symphony X. Btw, heard their latest album, Underworld, yet? I'd like to hear your (or any prog fan's) opinions on it...

Oh! And try out The Paralydium Project. Great new band with insane talent. I'm looking forward to what they can offer on a full-length release.
 
Well i'm a huge batman fan along with both my sons. i love the mytery and the fact that his human and can accomplish thing, Like kick super-man's hynie. Black is one of my Fav 3 colors and the yellow just goes well with it.

I haven't gotten to any of your recommendations yet, but I'll work my way through them over the weekend! I've got a feeling that my prog-taste will be a bit more mainstream than yours, but I'll gladly delve through to find out! :D

I'm sure you'll enjoy the music. I detest bad production quality in music, so I make a point of finding music that has the spit and polish I enjoy listening to. I can recommed the following:

- Symphony X: Underworld and Paradise Lost
- Teramaze: Esoteric Symbolism and Her Halo
- Anubis Gate: Self-titled and Horizons
- Waken Eyes: Exodus
- The Paralydium Project: Debut EP
- Evergrey: Hymns for the Broken
- Orphaned Land: All is One
- Circus Maximus: Nine

I wish I could experience all those albums again for the first time. :(

I love Symphony X! I'll have to check out the rest of those you listed. I haven't heard of them before.

Speaking of Symphony X, have you heard Allen-Lande's music?Its the vocalists from S-X and Powergod's project.
