On my laptop I opted for the skip key option when I booted off the USB, at the end I got a this key has been blocked by the activation server... Installed Windows 8 again, activated and just ran the setup from the ISO from within Windows 8. Told it to keep nothing during the install (aka fresh install) and that worked fine. Used a vbs script to get my keys to store for later use (Retail keys)
I have a feeling that I might have used the same key for my Desktop & Laptop, Seeing that I have about 6 or so legal key's, will never know.

did you use the latest version as anything in win 8 should work fine as it seems to do for me.
Edit: Well the second reinstall was way faster on my old laptop than the first, hoping that my Lan and wifi finally work this time or I will have to go back to Vista business.

She's like the "Google now", pops up with news that i'm interested in. that's all that I've experienced about her so far.
My problem is the IRQ conflicts so hope it is sorted out by a fresh install.
