Courtesy of our friends at Megarom Interactive, we have one Diablo III Collector's Edition to give away.

This is a really great prize, and should be a good warm up for MyGaming's own mega Diablo III CE give-away coming next week (stay tuned).

I'm going to run this competition for the duration of the weekend, and announce the winner on Monday. I think this will be a good way to thank our weekend readers for their continued support.

It will also mean that the winner can make some last moment changes to their pre-orders if need be.

How to enter

- Post a paragraph in this thread telling us why you deserve to be a champion of the mortal realm and fight the forces of evil for the sake of humanity.

- Post only once in this thread. Spamming or conversing in the thread gets you disqualified.

- Minimum of 20 lifetime posts required to qualify by time of the draw.

- Reviving old threads and making pointless posts will not be tolerated and will be monitored. Fair warning :)

- Make sure you are up to speed with the MyGaming Forum rules.

- Must be a resident of South Africa.

Winner announce

- The winner will be chosen on Monday, 14 May 2012, at 11AM.

I may be meer mortal but I have slain Diablo and baal many times over the course of the years even have had friends that I lost in battle but here I am still strong defeating evil where ever I game.Evil meet my Sword. Sword, meet Evil!
 
Blizzard took most of my childhood with Diablo and Diablo 2... my life will continue to be destroyed until I can put Diablo down again... I need to be able to death-stare into his empty eye sockets for extra slaying motivation. I will spork Diablo to death... slowly.
 
As we've learned from Diablo 1 and 2, the world needs me. Without my unending quest to rid this realm of the evil forces, there would have been no Diablo III. I deserve to be a champion of the mortal realm and fight the forces of evil for the sake of humanity. The world needs me.

As I need this prize.

I have never been this excited for anything in my life... I can't believe I'm actually wishing a weekend away, because Monday night just can't come soon enough. Come Monday midnight... someone is going to be klapped by my BARB SMASH! (and btw Diablo will have about 77milion hp on inferno, so I'm gonna be klapping for a good few hours on that fight). Maar klap gaan daar geklap word :D

I have slain many many creatures and evil foes. From egypt to greece even atlantis. I have been to many realms slay many things. I have killed without mercy against the forces of evil. I have saved many lives thanks to my selfless actions. I have sacrificed my live many a time to protect the weak and the old. I shall bring holy vengeance to those who dare attack the innocent For I am the mighty Tsar! and if I don't win I shall bring hold justice to those evil mygaming admins :p

As a champion of the mortal realm as I have studied for years to master the arts of the arcane, in my quest to defeat all evil, I have gone through many a test and hardships. Humanity is at it's darkest hour as Diablo starts to arise to power again, they need the salvation of the Mages! I will emerge victorious, against the 3 prime evils as a use my wits and magic to slay them once and for all.

I wanna kick ass, take names and save the beer wenches!
 
I would love this game since I love all diablo series and I have no money left to buy it on 15th May :( plus I love defeating the game with my awesome barbarian and this will also be my first collectors edition and for the best game ever

I have studied the elements. My blood has been infused with mana. I have mastered the art of fire and ice. Wielded lightning and commanded ethereal beings. I have battled under Tristam and taken portals to other worlds. I have continued my journey through Hellfire.

I have combined ancient magics with the Art of the Horadrim. I have met many allies that have aided me on my path to slay the prime evils. Tyrael himself has blessed my chosen path. I have combined items, discovered jewels and gems and used my knowledge to wield the ultimate weapons.

Skeletons, demons, evil spirits, possessed creatures and even bovine have tasted my energy. I have conquered the 3 and obliterated the Lord of Destruction. I have done all of this in preparation to walk through Sanctuary again.

The Heavens shall tremble no more, as the power that pulsates through my very soul, will guide me to overcome Diablo himself once more!
 
I cant wait any longer for this game. I loved the the previous games and cant wait to explore the world of Diablo 3. I've waited a very long time for Diablo 3 and there is no way in hell that I'm rushing through it!
 
Well I would love a collectors edition of this game. I love the story of this game, I love idea of killing Diablo aka the devil with my sword and lightning bolts so collecting swords and magic just sounds right to do it with a collectors edition. Kill the devil the way a collector would.
 
On my journeys I've defeated countless enemies, explored many lands and found exotic treasures but only one place remains untouched.... Sanctuary! As a Demon Hunter I'm fully equipped to take on whatever this dark world can throw at me and prove that I'm worthy of my title.
 
Diablo himself once said, "Not even death can save you from me." And yet still he was defeated, by one wielding a sword larger than many mortals. Once again, evil rises, and I will again rise to the challenge of defeating this evil.

I Kitted out my 486DXII with an extra 4mb ram to become the ultimate Diablo 1 Gaming machine, i killed Diablo and never looked back heading to the East to slay the demons once more... Now the time has arrived again, Im ready

The My Gaming Forums. Yes, it was... was the My Gaming Forums. My days in the first 2 games
seem so long ago. I sought refuge from my memories in the company of other
forum posters, high in the mountains past the Eastern Cape.

oh, I fought sleep for days at a time... For when I played Diablo 2, the memories would
return. Memories of Diablo 1 and the evil that had claimed it. Dreams,
memories... I couldn't tell the difference anymore.

And the evil from Diablo 1 followed me in my heels! How had he found me here?
How could this broken shell of a postman, barely able to carry the weight of his own
mailbag, be the burning terror which drove me to hide here?

He seemed to have Collector's Editions of preorder customers which he struggled to contain.
He was losing the urge to open all of them and enjoy the treasures contained therein.

As I grasped the boxset, I became convinced that I was truly glad. The terror, the
destruction, the evil that I witnessed--how else could I defeat them but with the Collector's Edition in my hands?

Was this the competition from my dreams, or was it born... within the My Gaming Forums?

Why did I follow the thread? I don't know. Why do things happen as they do in competitions?
But when he posted, I had to follow him. And from that moment, we posted
together. East... always into the east!
 
They say I should prepare for Diablo 3... but really Diablo 3 should prepare for me! For over 10 years I have been grinding my axe, you probably know me from the Diablo 2 character selection screen, the big guy in the center, thats me! I have patiently waited for the demon's to return, after enduring what most mere mortals could not, I have traveled to the ends of the earth, on my travels I have seen Angels, and I have battled Demons, I have seen the world itself shatter before my eyes.
After all my travels, I find myself longing for battle, thirsty for victory, it has been over 10 years and the evil has yet to rise. So I bide my time... quiety... slowly grinding my axe, and waiting for that day that I am sure will come.

I could not go back to a normal life after what I've seen, when Evil returns.... I shall be waiting. My Axe long's for the evil... and evil, well... it better be prepared!!!
 
Because its my fav game of all time. I have Diablo , Hellfire x-pack, Diablo 2, LOD x-pack sitting on my shelve. The amount of hours I have spend fighting in Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 from the days that we only had dailup and R7 Telkom weekends is insane.
Been waiting for this so many years, so give it to me and I'll spend many more hours fighting with my new wings :) Thx
