*WINNER ANNOUNCE* Win Diablo III Collector's Edition with Megarom Interactive

In an attempt to celebrate after defeating the three Prime Evils in Diablo II, my paladin finally succumbed to the evils of drink and died of alcohol poisoning (this is why there is no paladin in Diablo III).

Thus, I feel the need to once more banish the minions of hell and defend humanity, as well as honour the memory of the lost class of Diablo III – the paladin.

Thanks mygaming/megarom for another awesome comp :)

I have always had a tendency to play warrior/barbarian type characters to the point that my gaming buddies have always teased me about it whenever I get the chance to indulge that tendency :p.

I wish to put my relentless Barbarian spirit to the test by fighting the forces of evil for the sake of humanity and taking up the summons to be champion of the mortal realm :-)

As a champion of the mortal realm I am probably the most unique hero. Using my special powers of Super Brazing and drinking beer, I am known to all who dares to burn meet and over cook a steak! Using my hand in the shape of a braai tong I am the ultimate being in the realm to ensure you get a steak made the way YOU want it!

Beware the wrath of my braai salt shooting eyes! It will burn you!

While the other would be heroes gather here before the gates of hell. Only one of them carries the blood of kings filled with the beserker rage. It would be wise to send them back before I end their light of day along with hell's minions and lords. For my vengeance knows no end and my sword knows no pity and I make no separation between the chaff and the evil beyond these gates.

There once was a great warrior named Cyro, he was known across the lands as the one who slayed a Wyvern, the OmegaFenix, a Pr⊕phet of the evil god Sycogrim known as Tsar, the thing that should not be and a deserter who was known as Tinman... needless to say, he was no Joker. Therefor the Council of Three consisting of the great James, Qornea and Dan promised Cyro an incredible item, if he would go to hell and Slay the lord of terror, Diablo... The item was something that his heart desired so much that he couldn't hold back, and it was a collectors edition. Like a Sycogrim he immediately set out to find the gates of hell.

Months passes and the people of the land of MG started calling him a CrzWaco - he traveled to Isengard and back only resting on Wenzdayz until finally he reached the Grimspoon gates, but it was not unguarded. At the gate king Lycanthrope waited, bearing the banned bow 'Dixie' and accompanied by his pet, a Shadowfox! The hero fought like never before, and as he drove his bloodbathed sword through the heart of the troll Neo (whom had a very bad reputation in the land of MG), he could hear it mumbling something in the lines of "Murph, i Tooken your mothers virginity, Murph!". who the hero could only explain as extremely Voicy. Finally he had reached Diablo who had strange Oculate markings on his eyes. Cyro grabbed his claymore, a great silver blade known as the 'Mephisto_Helix', but unknown to him the blade was useless in hell and his fatal attack known as the DenSweeP had no effect... He died. But this is not the end of our hero's adventure, the collectors edition item could revive him again as a mortal and give him a chance to redeem himself, but first the Council of Three had to grant him this item.

:p Sorry if its a bit long, hope i included most of the active (and other) members :)

I may be of the mortal realm, but I am no mortal. I need not prove my power to the likes of you, but alas what is the use of great power if one does not garner the benefits! I call upon the Gods of mygaming to listen here! You hold a wonderous Treasure to give to whom you see fit, but the threshold of my power holds no limit. I shall not try and convince thee that I am worthy of this treasure, ha! No, this is but a thank you, for you see, with my power I shall influance even the minds of Gods themselfs to grant me what I wish!

I want to be champion of the mortal realm so I can grind loot, sell it on the auctionhouse and never have to work a day in my life again. :D

I am not yet played Diablo game series. I have been a Blizzard fan for many years still playing War Craft II up to this date especially Dota, I also enjoying
playing StarCraft 2. So I believe the collection for Diablo III will not go to waste if it is send to me.

With the countless hours I have invested in Diablo 1 and 2, I can write books as to why I deserve to be the champion of the mortal realm, but as Marius puts it in the cinematic below: "what I saw then, was not meant for mortal eyes..." - hence, I will instead leave you with this, one of my favourite parts of Diablo 2:

Mephisto says:

"My brothers, at long last we stand reunited. The Infernal Gate has been prepared, and the time of our final victory is at hand. Let the way to Hell be opened!

And the Evil that was once vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies shall rain fire, and the seas will become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked, and all of Creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!"

I deserve this prize. I'm so crazy about Diablo. I bought Diablo 2 when it came out while I was in Ireland. I then waited and kept the game for a year and a half till I had a computer I could play it with. Not only that, I waited 6 months before I bought lord of destruction because I wanted to play Diablo before I tainted it with the expansion.

I can't wait for this game already bought the computer for it and I've got pre orders at like 3 places.

Besides for Dungeon Keeper , Diablo 1 & 2 were my favourite games for most of my childhood!
We spent many hours owning some demons!
And I would love to do it again! While looking at that that mofo Diablo's skull right here on my desk :)!

I should win this because my help is needed in order to fend off the encroaching forces of Hell. Without my help, the realm of Sanctuary is destined for destruction. This cannot be allowed. My blade shall slay many a monster until my last remaining breath. I shall not rest until Sanctuary is safe and Diablo himself has been banished once again.

I deserve to win this game because all I've done for the last week and a half is wait for the midnight release. I absolutely love the Diablo games. The first game I ever played was Diablo 1. I think I spent roughly 95% of my time, until the announcement of Diablo 3, playing Diablo 2. This last week has been the longest week of my life so far and this would really really make it a great one.

For almost a decade now, I've spent most of my free time exercising my clicking finger, just so my Barbarian, Aranor, can kill as many mobs as possible before jumping back out of the fray for some healing.

Let me continue my quest.

My journey began in the year 2003. I was a young warrior. My goal: to defeat Diablo. My adventure started in a small town called Tristram. Diablo was stored here, but he escaped. This was no longer a small town that people barely noticed-this was hell. I fought Diablo and defeated the beast's mortal form. I was then possessed by the creature. My friends, the Rogue and the Sorcerer, were not able to escape from his grasp and they too have been corrupted by him.

The next part of my journey was in 2005, when I discovered Diablo 2 and the Lord of Destruction expansion somewhere in my home. I chose to be a Druid, for the warrior I once was, was being possessed by Diablo. He planned to set his two brothers free; Mephisto and Baal. I finally accomplished my goal: Diablo was slain by my hands (and mouse). I also defeated Mephisto, but Baal remained. I fought him in my final battle. After many hours, potions and deaths, I was able to defeat him. But still, it was not over. He was able to gain access to his soulstone.

This is why I need this prize, Mygaming. I have proven to be a worthy champion for all mortals and a true fighter of evil. Allow me to get this awesome prize and defeat the Prime Evil

I have been hooked on Diablo since I was young. I played the first at a mate's house and the second was one of the first PC games I ever owned. Not being particularly wealthy and living quite far away from any of my school friends meant that my weekends were spent at my neighbour's house LANing until the early hours of the morning. Diablo 2 became a passion of mine. It brought me hours of joy and help bring me and my girlfriend closer together as we played co-op together. Sadly, my postgraduate studies has starved me of time to play Diablo and the anticipation of the release of D3 has sparked a furnace within me. Every inch of my body has ached for the release of D3 and I believe this yearning, when unleashed on the forces of evil, will decimate any resistance hell has to offer. My fight to be where I am today makes me a perfect candidate for champion of the mortal realm. Humanity shall be saved if only I would be given the opportunity to do so with a Collector's Edition of Diablo 3.

The only possible way for me to play the game is to win the game. I have no way to justify the purchase as it will destroy my studies, wok, social life etc. if I win it however it wasn't reaaaaaaly my fault ;)

The Diablo series has been one of the best for many years and simply is one of the must have games ever. Daiblo 3 will be epic, but the Collectors Edition will truly be an awesome privilage to own. There is no other game that I have played more and enjoyed more in the rpg Genre. This is a must have an unfortubately I was too late to ensure a copy of the CE edition :(.

I dont know how many of the forumlites ever had "those parents", gaming was frowned upon and was the source of many an agrument. That really is my bases for below:

I guess Diablo was my form of rebellion as a kid, considering I grew up in a Religious home. So playing a game that had heaven/hell references and beating the snot out of the devil was not taken lightly by the folks back then. So myself and a mate went to the extend of lanning at mates place or playing late at night well the parentals slept was our way of showing them the bird.

I have fond memories of playing the game multiple times and hearing of Deckard Cain famous phrases "stay a while and listen" or the narrator and how whenever opening a tome he would start with "Take head and bare witness to the truths that lie here in". Seeing an elite monster and the made rush to kill him and loot the shiny drops before anyone else got them, followed by the mad shouts of ninja looting.

Got Friday booked off and having a lan with my mates, gonna be great to have a trip down memory lane. Getting the CE edition i guess would be a trophy/symbol of defying old times and celebration of new.

But regardless I forsee many a sleepless nights ahead and sick notes from doctors:

Symptom: Diablo3-insomnia-lytess

Oh and my current order ill be giving away to a mate of mine who cant afford it, win/win
