*WINNER ANNOUNCED* Epic giveaway: Win a 1TB PlayStation 4

I'm going to be honest. I have just created an account soley in hopes of winning this EPIC prize.
And who can blame a guy? This would be the first PS Console I'd ever own. Borrowed a friends PS2 in high school (Class of 2012 homies) for like a month and totally loved the thing, even though I only ever played 1 game. (Do the thing Yuna! Do the thaaang!)
Primarily a Desktop gamer (GBA and NeoGeo FTW!)

But enough about me and more about you guys. :D
(Cause you know you're special and stuffs. Hey...'sup? *does smexy eyebrow move*). ;)

From what I've seen you guys have got quite an applesauce (That means awesome btw) community going here. Everyone seems friendly and helpful. The members who have been here for a long time sound like cool older cousins which is awesome because you feel instantly at home among your tribe. I've read through the articles & reviews and seriously dig the way you write (Especially the Far Cry Primal article by Jeremy pew pew Proome [suuuuuup]). :p
Also you guys are so informative. (Seriously) I've come across some very interesting things about the "gaming scene" that I've never even heard of before. (FFXV MOVIE YAAAAASSS!)

I don't think any other forums have that vibe you guys have (uhhh local but with an international coolness?) Which is dope, because one can get so intimidated on the big interweb world out there. (Darn Trolls and Gaming Master Races!)

Keep doing what you're doing. Inspire, Educate and Do the thaaaaang!
But if I could make a suggestion? Get some awesome gear the community could buy and wear to show off the mad love they have for you guys. And if you already do, please direct me so I can throw some cash that-a-way!

In closing to this hella long motivational mental diarrhea...
PICK ME! PICK ME! PICK ME!
Anneyoung! :)

I have total respect for the MyGaming Website.

The fact that it has been going since 2009 - gives it a solid reputation as one of the leading Gaming websites on the net.

This reputation allows its viewers to trust the reviews and editorials it publishes.

I love all the new tech and products which are also released on the site. More importantly is the passion and dedication that the team on this site shows to its users where you can see the dedication not only to the gamers but to the upliftment of the gaming industry.

BIG UP to MyGaming!!!!! and besides my bf is a gaming fanaaaaaaaaaatic!

I would earn serious gf kudo's if I came home with this awesoooome prize!!!!

the Forum Section is what I like most, I'd like to see a lot of PLAYSTATION VR info but besides that I will still keep coming back again and again and again and again and again and again and again [see how much I want this?] and again and again and again and again [I need this] and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again [no copying and pasting, I'm actually typing this] and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again [okay back to work, gotta pay dem bills] and again......... awesome prize by the way thanks for the opportunity.

I'm fairly new to Mygaming (the website). Followed on twitter for a while now though so my knowledge of the website is not too expansive however I do like South-African based gaming forums because things more relative to me gets discussed within these forums.

What I like about MyGaming is that its for any gamer being social or competitive gamers catering for all South African gaming community with no discrimination of what platform you playing on being Playstation, Xbox or PC. I also enjoy the awesome relevant gaming news and discussions on the forum. If you do not know anything I am able to find general discussions here where I am able to find the answers to my questions but also seeing people opinions on the gaming world no matter the platform.

What I would to see more is a discussion called "Topic of the week". Where everyone come together to discuss the Topic of the week. Lets say the topic is relating the new virtual reality then we have discussion and share our thoughts and opinions on the topic of the week. Everyone can give their recommendations of what would they like for "Topic of the Week" but it have to be relevant and be talked about all over social media as well.

Thanks MyGaming for this awesome forum discussions and website with gaming news.

I like reading about up and coming games and also the gaming specials available (this is very useful).

I would like to see more competitions !

I love getting feedback from the community, and I am always keen on the competitions. Would enjoy seeing more technology related posts. All tech comes back to gaming!

As a new user I would most likely utilise Forums with the following areas being the most interesting to me:

Competitions and Giveaways
Consoles and console gaming area
Broadband Internet and Gaming

What I would like to see is more EPIC competitions like this which would definitely keep me coming back for more :)

Happy boys, Happy Mommy

I have only registered today on behalf of my son but have been purchasing for him via email requests & eft/deposit payments. I like that it is extremely simple to use & do business with on the pay method side.
It is very quick in delivering the purchases and that keeps my son happy, busy & quite, making ME a happy mother. I need to make another son happy, so I ALSO like the the PS4 for him.....please.

What would I like to see from My Gaming? Possibly a personal account where one can stash cash in credit for purchases for the kids. I think it will make them MORE happier, easier for me to deposit/transfer money to via eft for them to make their own purchases instead of having to drive 90kms at times for what they want. (very rural area we stay in). I would also like for MyGaming to have competitions on those personal accounts on the purchases they make or "give-aways" on spending so much per month or however MyGaming sees fit to promote. I would also like to see MyGaming, handing over this PS4 ;)

Thank you;)

I have always used My Gaming as my #1 source for gaming news and reviews, there is definitely a "to the point" kind of write ups by editors and forum members that I love. Always have been a "lurker" but feels great to be part of the community.

As for change.. change nothing about the site.

As for additions.. More video reviews by editors and possibly more "live Q & A" by respected gamers. :D

I'm 100% sure you have the wrong site in mind.

At first I wondered... Why the hell can't I post here? Then I looked at the top of my page and realised I wasn't logged in (and in my foggy mind that doesn't make sense as I was just reading something on MyBroadband and made a post)... When I realised - for the last 3 years I have been reading articles on MyGaming without ever making an account! :wtf: It is to my absolute shame and horror to admit to this, but I digress...

I had my spindle through posts here and I have to let you awesome dudes here from MyGaming know... I am an absolute sucker. Not just for console games that is - being very proficient at finding myself at a friend's house during the week, abusing their consoles (I use my home PC solely for development and personal projects, and the odd game of Sudoku when I am waiting for the compiler), so I hardly know the life without a controller in my hand.

But dark days my fellow gaming folk, dark days indeed... This story is a bit rough so if you don't have the stomach to read through dreary tales like these, I would suggest you stop because it only gets worse from here on out.

Once upon a time, there was a majestic knight (for easier reference as well as shorthand typing, let's call him CupCakes). CupCakes could defeat any foe that stood before him, by adoring the mantle of another hero, taking up their place and fuelling them with courage and glory, leading them to the victory of battle! These heroes were sometimes the heroes of old, Dante fighting against all the demons, sometimes holding on to the Masamune and fighting evil within an evil and decaying government or taking up the simple task of hand to hand combat in Street Fighter. Some heroes were more modern in nature and could be from a simple drift session with your friend in darkly lit streets, to epic snowboarding sprints rocking out to Avenged Sevenfold. The possibilities were endless.

But then came a day, when our brave CupCakes warrior was DENIED the pleasure of playing these games. DENIED THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEFEND THE CONSOLE HONOUR! Friends and family of this fearless hero became restless and annoyed by CupCakes always going over to their homes, playing their consoles but then never inviting them to a game at his home. Overcome with the shame of not owning a console, our hero decided to become dormant, in almost a meditative state until the time is right. Until our hero will be touched by the celestial light of gaming and be gifted the most ultimate gift of gaming pleasure - a console of his own.

MyGaming, now it is time for you to pick up the Gauntlet of choice and do what is right! Gift this humble being in front of you with the might of a PS4 console, to give this gamer the opportunity to right all the wrongs and invite all those friends that has always allowed gaming pleasure to be shared to return the favour.

Be the bringers of justice, and if in your hearts you see fit... The gift of an epic console.

tl;dr
MyGaming has always been this epic platform that I use as a means of the latest gaming news, reading posts from other users as if it is my own family and even as a mutual medium whereby I made friends online; "Hey, you're from SA right? Lol, saw that epic post on MyGaming?? EPICCCC. Let's go jungle in the left lane". MyGaming has been my home. A sanctuary of information, awesome peeps and even better content. Since before 6th gen bru! It doesn't get better than this.

Now go on, do the right thing...
PICK ME  PICK ME  PICK ME

I'm not a very active member on the forums but I visit frequently for the the gaming news articles and gaming deals.

My favourite part of MyGaming: Weekly gaming deals in features.

I like the fact that mygaming is one of the sites we have available in South Africa that keeps us up to date with all and everything gaming. I want you guys to keep up the excellent work and great articles.

We need more sites like this and more support to the gaming community. We dont have alot of esports especially in Durban. I hope to see this community grow alot more as the gaming community does.
