Welcome to week 2 of the ridiculous Rebel Tech rambunctious rally on MyGaming.

This week there is a Corsair Carbide Spec-03 mid-tower gaming case (with a white fan LED) up for grabs.

Last week we had a simple random draw, so to mix it up a little we're having a top 25 activity competition this week.

Fair warning: Before we begin, though, be ye warned that with big items like a case we can really only ship to major centres. If you're the winner and you are not in a major centre and you can't make a plan to claim your prize we may have to redraw.

How do I even Top 25 Activity Competition?

A quick recap of how top 25 activity competitions work:


Spamming and other shenanigans will get you disqualified. No warnings, just BAM you're out.

This competition runs from Monday, 8 September until noon on Monday, 15 September 2014.

The MyGaming activity system lets us run competitions that reward the most active member(s) on the forum during a period of time.

This competition is part of the Gargantuan Gaming Gear Give-Away with Rebel Tech and MyGaming.

As such, participating in this competition will give you an additional entry into the grand prize we're giving away during week 5.

For the purposes of qualifying for your additional entry into the grand prize draw you need to make but 3 quality posts before the closing date. Responding to this thread with a customary well-wishing to the effect that the best man/woman/xenomorph win, counts towards the 3.

Three is not too much to ask, so please don't spam. Spamming (and other shenanigans) will only get you an infraction, likely get your offending posts deleted, and possibly get you altogether disqualified. Just don't do it.

That is a rather beautiful case. I'll have to see if I can partake this week with my work schedule:p. What exactly qualifies as a main centre though? I'm in George, and according to Takealot/Kalahari that's a main centre.

I will find out from the people who know these things (hopefully tomorrow, but latest Wednesday) and report back with a six finger death punch of knowledge.

Thanks. Assume everyone would be glad to have some clarity on the specifics of that potential restriction.
 
During the PS4 comp I reached 26th on the list and I wasn't even aware of the leaderboard. I was just interesting enough to warrant constant chatter on the forum. :D

This time I'll post with a plan... To start building my second beast. I've got MiniMonster and now I need a Goliath.

EDIT: Yay, 21 minutes in and I'm 6th! :p

(See, no cheating from my side. I edited a post to add more content instead of spamming for a new post)

Wonder how much new traffic we are going to get now :p just hope they stay after the the comp ends too, if i manage to win this i'll make a donation to someone cos my Fractal is only 4 months old.
 
Good luck to everyone. If I do win, I will most likely pass as I am more than happy with my current case and will probably stick with it for the foreseeable future.
 
Oooh, now that's something I'd really like to get. Will try to post as much as possible given the circumstances.
 
Seems like it. If that's the case (look I made a pun!) then my Bitfenix Colossus M is almost double the price... A mate of minr might want that case though.
 
This will make a great start towards my very own gaming PC.. if I manage to post enough to be in the top 25 :rolleyes:
