Well, lets just say that the only games I can play are the golden oldies of the early circa 2000's and earlier. I have a 8600gt (My first video card ever and paid for myself) but it's slowly dying on me to much disdain, has a lot sentimental value... all those hard days of wor... Whoa almost went on tangent there. If by some chance I won this card I'd be very thankful to the mygaming community for allowing me to play a huge backlog of games I can't afford to play.

Ask any PC Gamer they will always need a better GFX card , and anything more than their current setup will advance their gaming pleasure .So Why do I need it , because its better than What I currently have :)

I am currently in a frame of mind to set up a home media system to supply the whole house, so this would be an awesome addition to the basics I already have. It could double as a multimedia platform for the kids when they visit too because the card would provide enough power :)

Because i just need a GPU to finish my media center, and this card will work perfectly with my 51 inch TV:)

I need this graphics card, cause I would like to play Guildwars 2 on the best graphics when it comes out without fps lag so I can enjoy it and also will help with my media streaming through my TV.

My GPU committed suicide many months back and forced me to need to use my brother's old GPU (Which is also technically broken, but working for now).

I don't have nearly enough money to replace my old 9600GT, so if I was to get a new GPU it would really change gaming for me. Texture details and so on will look better with this card, I can guarantee it. And having my own GPU resting in my tower case would lift a giant weight off my shoulders.

Well, I would like to get this graphics card so that I could add it onto the PC i am building up. It has a Dual Core and 2GB of RAM. Getting this PC ready for games would lessen the load on my laptop, which has a GT 525M which is not so fresh. Getting this graphics card would be Christmas coming to me very early.

The reason I need a gfx card:

Well, don't get me wrong. My Asus ATI 4850 is great...
...for frying eggs on.

Potentially one of the hottest running cards of call time. I've actually had to underclock it to get decent stability. Plus, when the fan kicks on at 85% it sounds like a small helicopter, which is kinda not kewl when you're using it as your HTPC.

So please MG, I would looooove a new card. :-)

Thanks for another great competition.

I've got a PC build coming up. My current PC just isn't cutting it anymore. ~5 years old. A GFX from this comp would mean I could spend the cash on the rest of the rig. *cough* SSD *cough*

I still have my 8800 from like 5 years ago and its been struggling and freezing with games. Any money i get goes towards student needs so winning this will defiantly help.

I have a 8600gt and need to upgrade my whole system in order to start playing dota 2. I have an account but am unable to play because of my PC. I will need to upgrade all my parts and this will go a long way to helping me upgrade my system. This graphics card would make my gaming life so much more awesome and I can finally get out of playing dota WC3 style.

As a gamer my eyes start to flicker and my teeth start to show at the sight of anything better than what I currently have. The reason for wanting this card is simple. It's better!

The reason why I need this graphics card is because i am currently still using a 9800 which is starting to die on me and give me problems (screen turns off), and i cannot afford to buy myself a new card so winning this card would really help me out. So please consider me for a candidate.:)

I am a student pilot, with an 8 year old pc (probably older lol), my Radeon X1300HM died about 2 years ago, so I am stuck on onboard graphics (it has a windows score of 3.1!).

I would really appreciate the use of a new card for training purposes (instrument training on flight sim - which is laggy as hell at the moment). Training is expensive enough as it is, and buying a new card is simply out of the question for me.

Please MG and Axis, help me out here!

Thanks for the comp!

Well this is an interesting one, I currently have quite a nice rig, but I am trying to get my girlfriend to game with me - but she is unwilling to spend money on a new PC setup (her current one is about 5 years old). If I could get this card, I'm sure all that would change :)

Altough my main Gaming PC has a GTX570, I am in the process of building a gaming machine for me wife. Currently she is using my work notebook which limits her to the games she can play. Thus this GFX card would really enable the PC I am building for her to play more games with me!

feels like my 9600gt has been with me for ages (probably has) and it would pretty damn awesome to get a fancy new card. having a new, decent gpu in your pc is like having a smart in-car-entertainment system in your car - one less thing to worry about, and it's also nice to show-off to your friends

I need it, because times are tough and i can't afford to spend money on my hobby.
If you don't keep up with the times you get left behind. Oh and anything beats a on board graphics card.
