Assassin's Creed 1 was WAY to repetitive... I tried... I really tried to give it a chance, but after a while, the novelty wore off and I started hating getting those effing feathers, running. running, climbing, climbing...
So it was with a little apprehension that I started playing Assassin's Creed II.
But WOW! The storyline, the maps, the twists, the turns... I've been to Florence in the early 2000's and walked from Ponte Vecchio to The Duomo. Did it 100x faster with Ezio, but it brought back some memories!
Including Borgia! Willing to bet that is what inspired the TV series!
Assassin's Creed II blew me away!
Brotherhood was good... but it always felt like it was II continued... but the multiplayer was AWESOME!
Revelations... well... tried to make it too complicated? and I feel no emotional attachment to Instanbul I guess.
