A great article showing exactly what DayZ is all about. I love playing zombie games like L4D, but some of the times I wish for a zombie game that would be much more realistic, much like The Walking Dead comics. I've played the Telltale Walking Dead game, and it definitely appeals to me, the decisions you have to make and the "real-life" situations. This article has convinced me that DayZ is the best of both worlds: The realism of The Walking Dead coupled with the multiplayer and team aspect of L4D. I'm definitely going to have to give it a try, if I can work out how to install it!
Seeing as that the hacker problem was probably the main cause for me to take a complete break from FPS, even though I was loving BF3, I love reading any article that's about the guys in charge trying to get rid of them. It really would be nice to be able to come back to the game after all these steps have been taken.
This game has intrigued me although I have never played it and this article gives a nice intro to the game. It was also humorous and I liked the part where the author talks about 'navigating through various shades of black and really dark grey pixels'.
Great article that goes on to detail one of my biggest questions... WTF!!!! Is this DayZ stuff that people is praising so much. Even when checking out a few videos I only saw people crawling around and was like wtf is this shit?
Respect to both Intel and AMD for ruling the CPU industry since inception. As read in the article, it's becoming quite tricky to plan on a time as to when a CPU must be purchased, which makes it difficult for the normal home user.
My only concern with CPU's, are the tedious process of constantly having to upgrade, same applies to the memory, GPU and every other component for that matter ;-)
Also with both hardware and software requirements, it's not easy keeping up as there's costs to consider as well.
Nonetheless, one always seems to fall in the trap of purchasing a new machine every time new hardware is available.
I guess the PC market always finds someways to keep the end user at the beginning ;-)
I found this pretty interresting. Seeing which games the steam users are playing the most was for the most part shocking to me, with the exception of dota2 and team fortress 2! I guess a new COD will always be there too, just not my cup of tea hehe. This also inspired me to try out TF2, downloading it as I type this !
Well this was and TBH others articles like this I find very helpful , condensed information that helps me make a choice one way or the other .With is Article I found that its still a long time before I venture to SSD .
I really appreciate these articles! I'm always looking for a bargain and these help me! Would be great if you included more games and accessories and not just really expensive TV's and consoles!
