The new design is pretty cool. Overall it maybe strikes me as a bit cluttered with all the ads. I like how the core design has been kept and just been heavily modified to look more awesome with the larger pics/text.

I love the new look - well done to the team/person that did this because it looks modern and clean (which fits perfectly with the theme of the content here)
 
Better by a factor of 10x.

It's looking properly professional now. Good job.

I'll reserve any suggestions or further comments when I come across anything that requires feedback.
 
Good improvement over previous site. I would however still like to see the game reviews more visibly. Needs to be somewhere at the top of the site.
 
Ok first (minor) grumble.

For some reason I'm not really liking the font being used for the main article text. It's a good font for using with headlines and menu options, etc but it doesn't flow nicely when being used in paragraph text. So my suggestion would be to just relook at what font you are using for the article content.

I wish I had the technical vocab to explain why it feels wrong so I could make a more useful suggestion.
 
nice and bright.easy to read.however,being able to search into specifics(eg hardware/peripherals then cpu's/keyboards) would make life a little easier for people who have a particular interest.maybe even a history of a particular products/ranges releases or speculations

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm making extensive notes on everything raised and we'll be doing little touch ups over the coming days.
 
The site looks great, it's really an upgrade from what it used to look like. And while I am still going through the site there are a couple of things I'd like to point out. I'm not sure if anyone else has, but just in case:

1. I think you should get a new logo with the site :P
2. I'm the type of guy who enjoys using empty spaces, while in most web designs, and designs in general empty spaces do play a role, in this case I think we can just cover it up... My thoughts are extending the search bar to the left. So it's more obvious, and you can type more before it cuts out.
3. On my screens I seem to be getting some random spaces. Not sure what's up with these, but it might be a good idea to get rid of those. (Unless they are spaces for ads, then ignore this)

1. Again the empty spaces, I was also thinking maybe you could move either forum discussions / screenshots and videos to the right, like you did with top stories etc.

Also on another note, I like how it didn't change a lot from the previous layout. Grdual changes like these are mostly accepted by the masses! So good on you!

it's looking fine on my side, your browser must be broken. what are you using?

EDIT: I see your problem. there are no spaces there. You either have a malfunctioning adblocker, or a REALLY slow internet connection, cause those spaces are actually ads

flubberfox ;) Chrome and IE... Although it's only in firefox where it looks a bit off. <- Forgot to mention that.

Yup, the large white spaces will show if you've blocked ads.
 
@Axon I think those blank areas are reserved purely for Advertising slots to increase revenue for MyG :)
