The competition starts now. Good luck and have fun!

I really enjoy the bigger pictures. As a bit of feedback: when looking at the main site with the iPad chrome browser there seems to be no formatting (looks like a news website from 1999 ;) ). On the PC it's fine.

I like it a lot more than the old design. Now we just need that forum search button in the menu that we've been promised for years :)

Overall, a very nice improvement and a much more modern looking site. Loving the bigger pictures and more simplistic look.

OKAAAAAYYYYY... so i hit the link this morning for MyGaming and the change was like... BAM!! IN YO FAYCE MOFO!!! :D

In honesty, it looks very good, obviously different, but in a good way. The Larger header images are a nice touch and having the main stories highlighted in a big black box as well as having a larger header image is pretty cool. The whole look and feel of the site seems a bit simpler.

nice work guys :p

it really does look great and its a welcomed change! change is good! all of the best and keep up the excellent work mygaming!

I might be new to the forum but to the MG News Section I am no stranger and I have to admit that I like the new layout. I mostly explore the News Section at home on the tablet. As a tablet user the cleaner look makes it a lot easier to navigate. Thumbs up all the way.

Oky so, I don't have internet at home, only surf the net on my blackberry!!! Layout looks great on the main page, but when I go to my gaming forums, it still looks the same, and I still can't find the poll I'm supposed to vote on for the competitions?

Awesome redesign... I first thought what's wrong with my PC this morning and hit F5 a few times when I opened the site... lol... it really is superb and a clever thought-out design.

I love it! Kudos to Jeremy!

Overall a pretty nice improvement over the old site, some suggestions though:

1. The contrast between the black background of the body and white background of the content, is too much - try a more neutral background colour for the body.
2. There's a lot of wasted space below the Poll in the right hand column...you can probably add something in there.
3. A responsive layout would be excellent - I have 1920 pixels to use, most of them aren't used currently...take a look at http://www.smashingmagazine.com/ for probably one of the best responsive designs out there...and lots of tips on how to impliment your own...
4. A categorized topic structure which includes some popularity sorting would be great to browse articles which fancy's ones interest. Currently only the latest articles, forum discussions and so on is listed on the homepage - what about popular older content, or as I said, a categorized navigation structure with more options than just listing all xbox or ps3 articles chronologically.

I love the slider on the homepage - very nice...how about a slider on each category page?

I rated the new design a 4 - I realize it's not a complete overhaul, and it's a step in the right direction, but there's lots of room for improvement.

It looks great - it's just a pity that the background of the page detracts from the overall effect a bit.

I understand that it's advertising revenue, but still ...
