Woo! Load shedding, woo!

That probably the thing that irritates me the most about this load shedding... All the traffic! People really start driving like idiots :/

Kzn drivers go crazy when the lights are off I am surprised there isn't more accidents and wish the police would come out and direct the traffic.

The only time they do is when the robots are working :p

Now just imagine Gauteng :/

My wife works at the hospital in town, and they also get load shedding. They have a generator though (obviously) to keep things going when shed.

With the possibility of Stage2 from 18:00 :/

Hmm odd, the medi clinic in CPT and Goodwood sees no load shedding (also a few blocks around them are safe).

Maybe the CPT lot just plans better? :D

We were scheduled for LS tomorrow morning, then I got a follow up e-mail stating suspension.

*says in cheesy Russian accent*

"Loadshedding is for pussies".

They're trying to judge the interest in a "Keep the lights on" initiative where we stay. If we fork out R10,000 and there's at least a 75% majority interest, the local electricity supplier will acquire all the necessary infrastructure to automatically switch over to duel-fuel generators to keep us supplied with electricity during times of load shedding. I'm quite keen on it, to be honest. Saves me the hassle of getting a genny installed at my own home...
