Woo! Load shedding, woo!

Why 4.5 hours? Load shedding is only supposed to last for about 2 - 2.5 hours at a time. During stage 3 loadshedding, we are out in the early morning sometime and between 14:00 - 16:00. However, with stage 2, we're only out early morning.

I have no idea why it's so long. It's what they've got on the City of Joburg schedule though.

Unfortunately the power went out at home at 2:30pm. But hopefully that means it will be on tonight.

According to what I've read online:

In Parow (13) on the site, our power (in Stage 3A) was off from 10:00 - 12:30 this morning, and will continue like this until Sunday.

I hope these times are correct.

Has been for many years now. Load-shedding only recently (last few years or so - dating back to 2008) became such a problem. I don't recall very great power outages as badly in the years prior.
