Woo! Load shedding, woo!

Wow, this load shedding is wreaking havoc with the traffic

Can only imagine what hell the heavily populated areas are going through when the lights are out...although seeing as East London ranks up high in terms of traffic (highest traffic on tuesdays/thursdays according to MyBB article some time ago), maybe I DO have some idea :P

Idiots here don't understand that it becomes a 4way stop so the car in front of them goes, oh guess its my turn too...retards...

Just great....JUST FRIKKING GREAT. We have constrained power supply all weekend, and what does my amazing municipality do...2/3 of our street lights are on RIGHT FRIKKING NOW, at 3:45pm. Well done Buffalo City Municipality, you sure know how to conserve power....

Trying to save power by using it pointlessly, needlessly and unnecessarily. JEEN-YUSS!

Our street lights burn through the day daily. They were questioned on it and said they're on for testing purposes... yeah right. Pffft

I've even heard a claim that it's to prevent cable theft... Go figure.

We haven't been hit yet today, but luckily we've been out the whole day. Still have 200 funeral booklets to tie up with ribbons tonight... *sigh* Let's hope we have lights then.

very true, and it all starts with the government...no hold on, it starts with the 63+% that continues to vote for the anc
*rant over

That's why I don't vote; the ANC will undoubtedly win again (as per the usual).

If everyone who says "That's why I don't vote" voted, things may be different. Can't complain if you don't try and be part of the change. The ANC's stupid followers have unity, if not much else.

Well, if the change is for the betterment of the people and their country, then I will be happy to have voted for such a party.
If it is just myself voting, we won't see change, but if many can vote, we can turn the tide.

Still, a great majority of votes statistically are still going to the ANC; they will not change their minds any time soon either.

Rule 1) You have to vote
Rule 2) Vote for what you think is best

...beyond that leave it. The whole trying to anticipate how many will vote what & whether its worthwhile to vote X or Y is a waste of thinking time.

It's best in its current form.
Voting simply based the hope that the party you vote for will win and will deliver as promised, is another issue entirely.

every vote counts; any opposition counts - it means the ruling party can't just willy nilly change policy as and like they want

The problem is that the anc wouldn't give their power up so easily. They will rigg the votes.

Really hate it when people post in this thread

Edit: Although, linked page presents me with:

"Load shedding status
We are currently not Load Shedding"
