Woo! Load shedding, woo!

I'm posting this using petrol power. Eskom shed its load at exactly 4pm and they'll try to fry my electronics again at 6:30pm.

I wonder what it will cost me to get only the lounge and study on solar...
 
I'm at work now and I'm kind of hoping we get some loadshedding as well. We still trade during loadshedding but it usually goes quiet when there is loadshedding.
 
Had loadshedding here in Alberton, New Redruth, from 10am to 1pm.

Awesome country, bringing everything down, from statues to electricity.
 
Yep, power is going off here at 4. So I'll be going home then. Unfortunately with the traffic lights being out it's going to take a while.

Agreed! We have power - they run the genny for the time so that they can watch tv and use their laptops. But I am to scared to add my pc to the mix. So tonight I will be bored and watching Daredevil... Instead of gearing my witch doctor in D3 :P

Not that I wish to rely solely on one source, but sharenet has proven to be punctual with its e-mail notifications.

See Sharenet only emails me 5 mins before the power goes out - to short a notice some days especially at work, Where I need to switch of the server and so forth.

I will get the app eventually. For now, this method works.
