World of Warcraft - General Discussion

Rested xp is reset for all characters on Cataclysm launch.

I've played wow for a year now, and yesterday when I played through the new old zones(go do thousand needles AWESOME quests) I fell in love with this game for the first time. It felt like a story that progressed not just farming rep to get a mount or something.
 
Ah well the rested xp will be tehre till I get to them, need to finish stormpeaks and icecrown with my lock first.

i love the changes but there are a few lore changes that does bother a few of us in game :(
 
I started a nelf mage yesterday and I like the new quest progression. When you have to kill a named mob, they give you a portrait on how it looks, and his current position is also marked on the minimap when you get close.

There is also temporary mounts to take you to some of the quest places. I found one in Teldrassil (when you do Relics of Awakening) and there is two in Darkshore that I've found so far, going to Bashal'Aran and Mathystra respectively.

Aslo while doing Relics of Awakening, you get a npc that helps you. You can also talk to her and she will guide you to each item and to the exit. It makes the quest a lot easier, and this specific quest was a pain to do before Shattering.
 
When I did those panther/tiger/raptor quest in STV (btw go there! absolutely amazing!) Once I got enough kills I could hand in the quest to myself and then start the next ones aswell :D Was awesome! and omw! dungeon quests...are AWESOME
 
Ditto.. Cata is going to be the release of the year!

Although I am not attending any midnight launches (yay for 8AM presentations), I am so stoked to get my Rogue-Mage-Warrior-Shaman to 85... And to roll a Worgen Hunter... And to level Archaeology... And to roll a Worgen Druid... And play rated BG's...

i just had a look, I have 3 pets that I will go get during the madness that is release day.

I realised im up to 114 pets :P
 
He is on a farm near where old dalaran used to be in old hillsbrad. You play a zombie vs plants type game to win him. It wasnt easy!
 
Hey all, I'm thinking of starting up wow again after over a year of abstinance. Want to roll an ally this time as I've leveled a few horde characters and want to see the other sides quests now.
Anyone know of a good server with some SA ally guilds?
I see Phatso was talking about a guild on Lightning's Blade, any openings still and what classes you looking for?
