This was actually one of the first games I played on my Xbox (again, borrowed). I liked it because I'm into that medieval stuff.

I've bought many crappy games but the one that stays in my mind was Will Rock. To this day I dont know why I picked it up, walked to the counter and paid full price.

Ninety-Nine Nights... What ka/k.
The majority of cheapo games tend to be crap, never really bother with them. But these days if you see something nice, you can quickly google it on your phone while in the shop.
I wish I had Metacritic in the 90's would have saved me a lot of heartache.Saving for a game and then buying a load of bull.lolGreat things these days wish I had internet and PC in those days, I wouldn't have bought it from reggies if I knew info.

I actually remember enjoying that game - lanned it with friends so that probably made the difference. I remember my one friend saying it's like no game I've ever played before - and when I started playing it I thought, "It's exactly like Serious Sam!" Of course I hadn't actually spent money on it (I never bought games during the Golden Age of Lanning)
This is a tough call for me, it's a tie between -

AC3 was just pure and utter garbage (This coming from an huge ex-fan) and Black Ops was just broken on PS3, you couldn't play the MP with game breaking lag and it just looks far worse than the 360 version.
That was actually pretty fun! Repetitive, but you could smash a lot of people at once, which was surprisingly satisfying.
