AC3 was just pure and utter garbage (This coming from an huge ex-fan) and Black Ops was just broken on PS3, you couldn't play the MP with game breaking lag and it just looks far worse than the 360 version.

AC3 the worst game you ever purchased? I get that you didn't like it (I loved it), but calling it pure and utter garbage is a bit much. Come to think of it, I actually bought Blops on PS3 as well and my MP worked just fine.

Mine was most likely Call of Juarez: The Cartel. Paid full price for the Special Edition. I also bought Neverdead at full price, but I actually enjoyed that, up untill the final boss. At that point all enjoyment was forgotten and turned into extreme rage.

I think people will list certain games just to try to make some kind of point. If that was really the worst game they ever bought they probably don't buy many games, or only started buying games very recently.
 
LEGO Island when I was a young, naive noobguppy...
Reason why I avoid LEGO games like the plague to this day.
And a driver game... The driver franchise needs to be killed with fire. It used to be good in the ps1 days. Have fond memories of playing driver 2 with my sis.

I found it to be pretty decent... I played on PC though. Bad controls are not usually a game breaker for me though. I can usually manage.

Ah a remake then, never played that one. Thanks for the warning, the old pc ones were pretty decent for the time they came out in.
 
Blur

A racing game with power ups and shit. Costs me R500 (a huge amount at the time) and it was supposed to work on my pc... But no i could not even launch the game and on my bro's pc it was at like 2fps at menu (his pc was better). Took the game back and got something much better instead (something that i cannot remember xD)

You need to remember that every game in here is purely subjective.

In my experience AC3 was utter garbage. Period. The way they treated historical characters, the story itself, Connor, the free-run being mapped to R1 and removing 'X', the lackluster cities (The frontier was awesome) and that God awful ending. It felt like a whole like the devs took a giant dump on everything that made AC awesome before that.

At it's launch Black Ops was broken (I went back to MW2 after 6months-ish) but compared to the 360 version it was a mess. Buggy lobbies, frame stuttering sometimes and it just felt a mess all round. That is how Black Ops became "Blops".

AC 3 was stupid, it used to little controls, it was like counter and punch/kill and thats all, I want to use all of the controller, but I liked cod black ops really a lot. there I must disagree with you , but I only played mp on black ops 1 , it was where nuketown started

AC3 was lacking for an AC game imho, however, it wouldn't ever qualify as a "worst game" in my books.

Agreed. The game might have been disappointing to some (I know I am not the only one who loved it), but there is no way it can be the WORST game someone has played. Unless they have only played like 5 games or something in their life and the other four were games like GTA V and The Last of Us.

Nothing you mentioned about AC3 was an issue for me. To each their own I suppose.

Let me put it like this; on a technical scale AC3 was pretty good, the engine was great (Although buggy as fuck) and the environments in AC3 were gorgeous. In terms of story and content the game was sorely lacking in all areas.

I'm going to leave it there as I'm not trying to change anyone's opinion of the game. To me it was just an utter mess.

Pixel Atom Zombie Smasher has more replayability and gave more a much more enjoyable experience than AC3 did in anyway.

You have seen my PS3 library and I have a massive one on Steam as well so I have played my fair share of games (Started with Tomb Raider back on PS1) but yes, to me AC3 was the worst game that I have pruchased.
