Does anyone around here have an account on steamgifts.com?
Who around here even knows about the site?

Sure, but that does not weaver the fact that you still have to have 50$ steam account. What is stopping me from creating 10x 50$ accounts and getting an invite for each? No sure way to stop fake and clone accounts, that's easy cop-up using fake account excuse by enforcing invite...Only to stop people from using fake accounts to increase their chances of winning...
That's great, but I've read on GoG they have issues with fraudulent gifts, afaik steam's TOS can lock you account if you accept or try to load anything from such a source. Further more you might have same issue if accepting something that is not deemed for your region.

It is the same person afaik. It looks like it's the same person that does http://www.steamgamesales.com/, not sure what the business model is but it seems legit.
...seems you are actually already part of that site and are here to advertise it[/I]

not really, if I live in Australia and get myself some game that's not been rated there and it's a title that you are not suppose to have there, receiving it through gifting is not in-line with TOS and you could get account issues or game itself just wont work.I'm pretty sure receiving a Steam Gift of a game that isn't available in your region is OK in Steam. I think that's how some gamers get around the country regional checks for certain games.
