Xbox 360 VS PS3

But yeah - loving both my PS3 and Xbox for differing reasons (even though I hardly ever use the bluray function)
 
I'm surprised threads like this are still left to float around... Anyways. I got both, bought my PS3 this past weekend and loving it so far :)
 
I agree with Voicy, it's one thing to say PS3 sucks, or xbox is sucky - but if we could substatiate why one is better than the other it would help especially for me who knows nothing about either and is a pc gamer, but is thinking of crossing over

Well advantages of either one would be the games that come out on only that certain console.. But I would say the up side of a PS3 would be the free online gaming and the bluray while the only things I can think of for the xbox is the remote (like it much better with the analog stick in place of direction arrows) and the online network must be more secure.. I'm sure I don't need to explain that second point... (I currently own an xbox but I'm thinking of getting a PS3) I just with the xbox or PS3 had local gaming servers like the PC...
 
I own a xbox, but actually I feel as if i made the wrong choice :(
Because the ps3 online play has no subscription, blu ray discs eg. In the upcoming action/rpg Dark Souls. They had to make the xboxversion smaller than the ps3 version because of the disc size :(.
 
i think i need to go through these 110 pages and weigh up the pro's and cons, and the votes, before making a decision
 
My 2 cents:

PS3 online gaming is poor in comparison to Xbox LIVE. PS3 - The fact that you can only talk to players in the same game as you is poor. Xbox Live socially and gaming wise is the better of the two by a long way.
