I like to wait and see how people argue about what is better. It's like watching hyenas or vultures in the wild fight over food, but in this case it's fighting over the title of who is better.

I'm not really sure that "comes with kinect" is a selling point. It's just forcing a piece of tech onto people who would otherwise have no desire for it.
There is no easy way to say this but, as a former pro-Xbox advocate, I'm disappointed and I'm going to go PS4. It feels like I was not considered while developing the Xbox One. All decisions were made based on what somekids in the US would like. I know I'm not a star customer or anything, but as an Xbox customer who has purchased 3 Xboxes and almost 160 games, I feel shafted. I bought a second hand PS3 to get used to the controller layout for when I'm going to buy the PS4 and know I think I was a mansausage because I didn't get one sooner. 160 games later the joke, it seems, is on me.

Yeah definitely not a selling point for me. Some people are arguing well it will mean developers will be more keen to do something with it. I see it as MS mitigating the risk of it failing onto the consumer. Its not like they didn't sell a hell of a lot of version one (24 million units) I'm not saying it isnt going to do well or isn't cool, but I think they should prove it is before forcing you to buy it.
I never got the kinect 1, but I think I'm actually okay with it coming with XB1 this time, they've improved on a very interesting concept, even if it doesn't help gaming, I'm sure someone somewhere will create a very cool app to use it with, I do like the idea of voice-commands, and I think with the reduced latency it has in Kinect2.0 that I'll scream "foos roh dah" when ESVI comes out![]()
Price is a huge factor just look at uk market where 360 dominated now ps4 is outselling xboxone 2 to 1.
Necropost! Kill it with fire!
Please refrain from reviving posts that are older than 3 months. Thanks.
So if you want to talk about the same topic and there is a post that is older than 3 months must you create a new post rather? I've seen people get shot down for creating new threads that are the same as old posts. Is there an official rule around this?
Necro-posting
It is generally bad practice to revive a thread that has not been active for some time - the is known as "necro-posting".
If there is not a currently active thread about that particular topic, then there is no harm in creating a new one as a fresh start.
