Depends what you want if you want to play multyplats Xbox 360 is the way to go if you want exclusives Ps3 is the one both are great consoles and remember you dont have to pay to play Mp on ps3.Oh and Ps+ and all that free stuff.

Not this question again.

PICK WHICHEVER SYSTEM YOU WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both have games, exclusives, multiplayers and indie games.

For me it comes down to what you know... If you had a PS before go with the PS, If your a freshman when it comes to consoles i would get my hands on the control's and see which you like best...

Neither since this is the PC gaming section. :D

haha - nicely spotted!

Yeah I'd say it should depend on the games (particularly the exclusives on each console) instead of the graphics. Now if you reaaaalllllly want to look at graphics only then check out some of the eurogamer face-offs where they'll compare the performance and all that. Here's a sample for X-Men Origins: Wolverine:
Raven's work with this Wolverine tie-in shows a utilisation of the Unreal Engine 3 technology that compares very closely with the recent UE3-driven Wheelman project. In-game action is very close indeed between the two platforms, and certainly from a gameplay perspective both versions feel almost like-for-like. Also in common with Wheelman, both versions aspire to a 30FPS refresh rate but do have trouble sustaining it, though 360 clearly gets closer to the ideal.

In-game and cinematic performance mirrors what we found in the playable demo, which we covered in more depth over on the Digital Foundry blog (worth checking out simply because the comparison video we produced there is absolutely mental). In short, rather bizarrely, the PS3 version runs more smoothly during certain cinematics, while the Xbox 360 rendition generally tends to perform better, and with far fewer torn frames during the actual gameplay.
You'll see minor lighting differences, plus the Microsoft platform once again includes anti-aliasing absent on the PS3 build - all of which combines to give the Xbox 360 a marginal, but tangible, technical victory in this particular comparison. But in terms of the more important factor - the bloodthirsty thrill of the commandeering the world's most finely tuned killer - that's equally as enjoyable on either platform

xbox has better graphics but only very slightly because PS3 outputs at 720p. xbox at 1080p.

Well I play GT6 at 1080p.

PS3 no doubt
PS3 games are blue-ray disks

Plus it has the ability to play BluRay movies

------------------------------

From someone who has owned a X360 for almost 2 years and recently bought PS3 in November last year, I would have gone with the PS3 first. But still, much of a muchness. They can both be very similar if not the same and at the same time, each can have their own niche.

Then you should know from experience that PS3 is the way to go simply because of the fact that online gaming is free on PS3 and not on xbox

Yep, that's the point I'm trying to make here. I have hardly touched my X360 in the past few months compared to the PS3. I still maintain that the PS3 is a worthwhile purchase despite the fact of the PS4 being released and available.
