Xfire

well that helps.... If I cant log in then I cant do anything on the website........ :(

Do you mean you can't log into the Xfire client on local cap or the website at all?

You can watch videos on the site, edit/view profiles and game info as well as clan pages, so I find quite a lot of use for it :D

You sure you've activated your account?

yip, used it on a frineds PC (then unistalled it) But I'm not intersted in using xfire client on this PC, its too slow.
As soon as xfire goes to that secure logon page, its off local

Quick Question (havnt read the entire thread):

Steam allows you to add non-steam games to its list. Thereby notifying your stream friends when you are playing said non-steam game and you can even make use of the steam chat interface etc while in previously mentioned non steam game.

Does this also then go onto your steam profile like other games to tell you how many hours you played the game?

I presume XFire does more in-depth tracking etc but was just wondering about Steam in comparison if a person wanted something a bit more casual and avoid installing something extra to run in the background of his computer.

Xfire is on its own, but it detects all the games you have on your pc. you can see who is playing what but does not give you like steam does that a player has started playing a game.(unless there is a option to enable this) It does record all the hours you have played.

Hey guys.

Can you please invite me on Xfire again? I re-installed windows and all my friends disappeared :(

okay will do.

dude.... haven't you heard? there is a major break in the SAT3 cable

Yeah but Steam and my other IM programs are working perfectly. For some reason it's just Xfire that doesn't want to work right since earlier...

I thought they fixed the cable by now. Silly cables.
