YOUR - a possessive adjective

YOU'RE - a contraction of "you are"

Example: You're confusing your adjectives and contractions.

Thanks.

Heh, that's awesome. A friend and I were bitching about people misspelling "definitely" yesterday, actually. I think it's because people don't see words as constructs - in the case of "definitely", for example, it's the prefix de- plus the stem -finite- plus the (adverbial) suffix -ly. De+finite+ly. Yet some people just don't seem to see this at all. As for "alot". >_> That just doesn't even make sense.

Thanks azi:D I tend to misspell things. It is always nice to learn something that has been forgotten.

I don't give a shit about gravity. It doesn't make it less relevant. Just a thought. ;)

Fixed. :)

Even though I'm not English, I do agree with Azimuth that it takes just as must effort to spell something incorrectly (sometimes more if you look at the mxit language) as it does to write it properly.

"Their are to many people misspelling words or abusing there write too freedom of speach."

Now that mxit way of writing is just messed up. Saw some smses my brothers ex sent him and i took me 20 minutes to read and understand what the frak was being said.

It reminds me of the Ali-G movie where he tried to write "Connect the battery" but it took about 10mins for the dude to understand him.

Lol. The really funny thing is there are youths in the UK that really talk like that. And you go: "Speak English man"

My one friend talks to me in the mixit thing(will not call it a language it is as far away from a language as you can possibly imagine), its like he pronounces the letters to me not type and I am like what the hell does omw, ty wy, ec, pw mean?
