If you’ve been enjoying Pokemon GO, but longing for the more advanced, retro gameplay offered by the original Pokemon games, then you may be interested in the fan-made hit, Pokemon Uranium.
The free PC game is created by a development team of dedicated Pokemon fans who aim to provide gamers with a classic Pokemon experience with a few creative twists.
The game was recently released to the public, although the developers have since removed the official download link in line with Nintendo’s demands.
Despite takedown demands by Nintendo, Pokemon Uranium’s development team is continuing to work on the game, GameRant reports.
There are currently over 1 million active Pokemon Uranium players, who either downloaded the title before the official download links were removed, or downloaded the game from a third-party mirror.
Despite its inability to officially distribute Pokemon Uranium, the development team has stated that they will continue to work on the game and provide support for players.
