While most PC gamers and hardware enthusiasts aim to construct custom cooling loops and massive overclocking rigs, some set their sights on more practical designs.
Many gamers opt for a Mini-ITX gaming build in order to combine power and mobility, and this is the market which the Sentry from Dr Zaber is aimed at.
The case is at the cutting edge of Mini-ITX chassis design, offering a tiny 6-litre form factor and unparalleled power in its class.
Concept and Customisation
The Sentry is a gaming case design by Dr Zaber, and is aimed at the Mini-ITX enthusiast gaming market.
The case can house a fully-sized graphics card, including the latest Nvidia Titan X Pascal, which delivers the best 4K GPU performance.
The case also makes use of the Mini-ITX motherboard standard, meaning that gamers can install high-end gaming chipsets and processors.
However, the case does have certain limitations, such as a maximum of two storage drives and the lack of chassis fans. The components remain relatively cool however, as the small size of the case allows the CPU and GPU coolers to filter out hot air effectively.
It is recommended to set up the PC in the vertical position when performing heavy-duty tasks such as gaming.
