This glitch just gave away 11 Loot Crates in Overwatch for free

30 September 2016

Blizzard are accidentally gifting players all over the world 11 free Overwatch loot boxes each (about $10 worth) due to a bug, reports PCGamesN.

The bug was likely a planned thank you from Blizzard in what was supposed to be a specific server-only apology for recent DDOS issues.

We checked our Overwatch accounts here at MyGaming but we hadn’t receive any additional crates so it appears the distribution may also be totally random.

We don’t find the news too surprising however, as it’s been Blizzard policy since the early days of WoW to offer in-game compensation for service outages.

Did you receive free Loot Crates? Let us know in the comments below and in our forums.
