MyGaming weekly roundup (2 – 8 May 2011)

8 May 2011

It’s been another bad week for Sony. The PSN is still down as a result of the 100 million user accounts that were stolen, and despite their apologies and promises, it’s still not up and running. Another blow was struck this weekend, with yet another Sony website being hacked and some personal information being posted by the hackers, which put plans to restore PSN back on halt.

EA might have been happy with Sony dominating news headlines, as they once again reported losses in their yearly financial earnings report, although not as much as last year. They also went about trash talking the Call of Duty franchise, casting Battlefield 3 as the CoD killer.

In case you missed anything, below we’ve rounded up all the interesting news and happenings in the gaming world from the last week.
