AMD launches new Radeon Pro GPUs

AMD has revealed two new Radeon Pro GPUs based on its Polaris architecture.

The new cards are aimed at the entry-level workstation market and feature up to 1.25 TFLOPS single-precision peak compute.

Both cards are equipped with 512 stream processors, with the biggest difference between them their memory configuration.

The Radeon Pro WX 2100 features 2GB of GDDR5 VRAM on a 64-bit interface, while the Radeon Pro WX 3100 boasts 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM on a 128-bit interface.

AMD said its new Radeon Pro cards deliver up to 26% faster performance than their Nvidia competitors.
