SteamDB has updated its revenue charts, and the results are in for last week.

While there are a few surprises on the list, the rest are as you’d expect compared to the week before.

Results are compiled based upon total revenue rather than copies sold, so a more expensive game may make the list despite having sold fewer copies than a far cheaper title.

Below are the ten games with the highest revenue last week on Steam.

10. Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Dying Light 2 Stay Human was released on 3 February this year on Steam and is the sequel to the well-regarded zombie survival game Dying Light.

In the second instalment in the series, you take the role of a wanderer who, through your choices, will shape the fate of The City.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human features a vast open-world, intense combat, a day and night cycle and 2-4 player co-op gameplay.

It currently has a Mostly Positive user score on Steam.

9. Valve Index VR Kit

The Valve index VR Kit was sixth in the previous week’s rankings but has now dropped to the ninth position.

The package comes with VR equipment and Half-Life: Alyx but is still unavailable in South Africa.

It has several different purchasing options that likely contributed to it retaining a position in the top 10.

8. Cyberpunk 2077

Another title present in the previous ranking, Cyberpunk 2077, dropped five places from its third spot ranking to eighth place.

Despite its rocky launch, the constant patches the highly-anticipated title has received have gone a long way to address many of the issues players had at release.

Although it may have dropped to a lower position it’s still impressive to see it has maintained a spot in the top 10.

Cyberpunk currently has a Mostly Positive user score on Steam.

7. Rogue Legacy 2

Rogue Legacy 2 is a Roguelite Metroidvania from Cellar Door Games that uses a unique heir system where every time you die, your child succeeds you.

The title was released on 28 April this year, last week Thursday, and given its relatively low price it must have sold very well to make it into the top 10.

It currently holds a Very Positive user score on Steam.

6. Monster Hunter Rise

Another new addition to the top 10 is Monster Hunter Rise which first came to Steam on 12 January.

The follow-up game to the highly successful Monster Hunter World, it will also be getting a significant DLC expansion called Sunbreak, which releases on 29 June.

Sunbreak can be pre-purchased which likely contributed to its sixth position on the revenue charts.

Monster Hunter Rise currently holds a Very Positive user score on Steam.

5. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice holds the fifth position in the top 10 and is another game from FromSoftware.

It originally released in March 2019 and won Game of the Year in addition to the numerous high scores it received from reviewers.

However, its presence on the top 10 list is likely due to the 50% off sale running on it, which started last week and will last until 9 May.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice holds a Very Positive user score on Steam.

4. The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe

The Stanley Parable was first released in 2013 to massive success and acclaim thanks to its unique story, setting and humour.

The Ultra Deluxe edition of the game was released last week, and thanks to new content, endings, and reduced prices for owners of the original game, it was able to claim the fourth spot in the top 10.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe has a Very Positive user score on Steam.

3. Dune: Spice Wars

After the success of the latest Dune movie, it’s not surprising to see Dune: Spice Wars on this list.

Dune: Spice Wars is a 4X RTS game set on the desert world of Arrakis and comes from the developers of the critically acclaimed Northgard.

The strategy game allows players to take control of one of four warring factions and compete to control the planet through economics, politics and military might.

Dune: Spice Wars was released into Early Access last week on 26 April and has a Very Positive user score on Steam.

2. Elden Ring

Elden Ring continues its prolific run of success and maintains its second-place spot from the previous week.

The latest hit game from FromSoftware, Elden Ring, was the most highly anticipated game in 2022. Its release in February cemented its standing as one of the best games released in recent years.

Given its continued success and the potential for DLC content in the future, it’s quite possible Elden Ring will be present on this list for some time to come.

Elden Ring holds a Very Positive user score on Steam.

1. Steam Deck

The number one spot on this list is, once again, not a game, as the Steam Deck has maintained its top spot from the previous week.

The handheld gaming PC produced by Valve continues to sell well and has received positive reviews from users and critics alike.

It may maintain its position next week.
