MyGaming’s first competition officially ended today.
The competition allowed users with more than 15 posts in the MyGaming forums to enter the name of a PC,PS3 or Nintendo DS title that they would like to win. Using a random number generator, MyGaming selected a winner from the entry thread.
Post number 37, belonging to “Sycogrim” was the official winner, and he will receive a copy of “BAJA: Edge of Control” for PS3.
Luckily for Sycogrim, the owner of the original winning post number, “Craan” only posted 13 comments and was therefore not eligible to claim his/her prize. Congratulations Sycogrim, your prize will be on its way shortly.
And on to more competitions, of which there are three that will be running over the next two weeks
The MyGaming “Most Referrals” competition
This competition will reward users who refer new users to the MyGaming forums. Every time a new user signs up on the forums, they can credit the user who referred them to the site. Quite simply, the user who refers the most people to the site will win a game from Wantitall.co.za.
Second place will get a one month 30GB local IS ADSL account.
Third place will receive an 8GB flash drive.
This competition is currently running, and will end Wednesday 18 Jan at 10am.

The MyGaming CoD4 Match
MyGaming in association with iGame will be hosting a once off 30 minute Call of Duty 4 match. There will be two prizes, one for the player with the most kills, and one for the player with the best kill/death ratio. If this happens to be the same person, then one of the prizes will be handed down to the person with the second most kills.
The time, map, game mode and other details will be arranged once the competition has sufficient entrants.
There are limited spots in this competition. Only MyGaming forum users with a post count of 20 or more are eligible for entry.

The MyGaming Red Alert 3 Comp
Arranged as a result of user demand, the Red Alert 3 match will also award the winner with a PC, PS3 or Nintendo DS game of their choice. This one is still in the early stages of planning. To get more involved, go here
