Originally exclusively available over Xbox 360 Live, Braid turned heads in 2008 by combining traditional elements of platform gaming with a number of innovative time manipulation game mechanisms.
The game was incredibly well received, earning scores of between 8.8/10 t and 9.5/10 from top gaming publications.
Its unique artistic direction and innovative gameplay makes Braid a must own title for the Xbox 360.
It has been announced that the game is now coming to PC via digital distribution network impulsedrive.com. Impulsedriven.com is run by Stardock, who published Sins of a Solar Empire.
The game will become available on March 31 at a price of $19.95 (R200), which is slightly more than the Xbox Live version which goes for $15 or 1200 Microsoft points.
Update
After relentless moaning from PC gamers across the internet regarding Braid’s projected retail price of $20 ($5 more than the Xbox Live version), developer Stardock has announced that the game will now be selling for $15.
