Latest Call of Duty: World at War DLC banned in SA

20 March 2009

We have learned while reading the ever informative Xboxgaming.co.za that the recently released Call of Duty: World at War DLC pack is not available to South African Xbox Live users.

The problem is not a new one, and the fact that SA is not an officially recognized Xbox Live country has been covered before. This effectively means that anything that gets banned in countries such as Germany and Japan (in this case) gets immediately banned in SA.

This unfortunately means that SA Xbox 360 owners will not get access to the new maps and DLC for Call of Duty: World at War. Fortunately the same censorship won’t apply to PS3 or PC owners.
