Left 4 Dead DLC arrives today

21 April 2009

Finally owners of the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the popular Zombie blaster are set to receive their much anticipated DLC packs.
The DLC should go live today via the Xbox Live Market place and STEAM for PC users. Owners of the game will be pleased to learn that the DLC is free, and is said to essentially unlock the second half of the game.

The DLC will add a new Survival Mode, which has players facing off against increasingly challenging waves of zombies on 12 specialized maps. Valve claimed to have optimized the difficulty curb, enabling players to ease into the action without it becoming immediately overwhelming and therefore not much fun to play.

Update

Our friends over at xboxgaming.co.za have confirmed that the update went live at 12pm local time, and is available as a 101MB download via Xbox Live.
