EA reveals FIFA 10 release date

EA sports has announced that FIFA 10 will be available internationally on October 2 and will feature a number of countries that are set to play in next year’s World Cup Tournament, including South Africa.

This next instalment in the FIFA series will feature 360 degree ball dribbling, wider physical range when tackling and dribbling, improved AI with regards to player urgency and more accurate passing. Other features include defenders curving their runs to stay onside, refinements to ball physics.

Additionally players will be able to manage their teams by controlling the finances, squad choice and club transfers. Managers will begin their careers and slowly climb the ranks based on reputation on a five star basis.

The game will be available on all platforms. This includes PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP. It will also be available on a number of mobile phones but Sony has revealed that FIFA 10 will be the last instalment in the series that will be playable on PS2.
