Gaming specials this weekend

3 August 2012

For those looking for a good deal this weekend, Hi-Fi Corperation, Dion Wired, and Game are hosting some pretty enticing specials.

Xbox 360, two controllers, charging kit, games and Mweb special (Game)

Game are offering a 4 GB Xbox 360 console, along with FIFA 12 and Gears of War for R2,999. This also includes second controller and charging cable.

Thrown in as a hook is a 12-month Mweb ADSL contract. If you accept the terms and conditions (including line rental etc), you get the whole bundle for R1,499.

The special is available: 2 August 2012 – 12 August 2012

Playstation 3 console (Hi-Fi Corp)

If there’s anyone who’s been eager for a PS3 but hasn’t managed to come around to getting one, Hi-Fi Corperation is offering a deal, with a 160GB PS3 going for R2,799.99.

The special is pretty vanilla in terms of extras, although the console itself is a fair price.

The special is available: from 2 August 2012 – 5 August 2012

Xbox 360 controller, charging cable and games (Dion Wired)

If you’re looking to pick up an extra Xbox 360 controller but haven’t found a good reason to, Dion Wired is giving some incentive to invite over that second player.

A wireless Xbox 360 controller (black), along with a charging cable and FIFA 11 and PGA Masters are thrown into the ring for a price of R600.

The special is available from 25 July – 7 August 2012.
