EA has announced that Bioware’s highly anticipated Sci-fi RPG, Mass Effect 2, will release in Europe on January 29 2010.
This means that South African’s can expect the game either on the same day, or shortly thereafter.
The first Mass Effect was a critical as well as commercial success, earning a Metacritic score of 91 on Xbox 360, and 89 on PC.
The sequel will continue the story which the first game started, and is the second game in a planned trilogy.
Since the sequel will pick up where the first left off, it is strongly recommended that interested gamers who missed the first get themselves a copy soon. Fortunately, the PC version can be found for as little as R100 now.
