Ex WoW and Guild Wars developer announces Zombie MMO

24 November 2009

“The world doesn’t need any more dragons” said Jeff Strain, who worked on Diablo, Star Craft and World of Warcraft before leaving to co-found ArenaNet where he worked on GuildWars.

Strain was infact the lead programmer on World of Warcraft during its early development, and its hard to think of any MMO developers with more pedigree.

Strain has announced a new MMO that will be coming to consoles, and will take on a zombie/survivalist theme.

“Undead Labs is committed to bringing to life an MMO loaded with action, humor and, of course, a whole lotta zombies, because the world doesn’t need more dragons,”

“Nothing screams funny quite like wading into a group of rotting zombies with a lawn chair and a box of sharpened #2 pencils, and nothing says fun quite like doing it with your friends, whether online or on your couch.”
