It’s not like there were any worthy upgrades or anything, Skylake disappointed the enthusiasts with its 10% increase in performance over the previous gen. The last proper upgrade was Sandy Bridge, the market will keep declining until this changes. Nvidia Pascal is the only interesting thing coming this year, and no I don’t think AMD Zen cpus will change anything. It will disappoint just like Bulldozer did.
