Eclipse Cup

Eclipse Cup is hosting a non-profit Dota 2 tournament which features a prize pool of R10,000, along with various physical prizes such as gaming peripherals.

Entries for the Eclipse Cup close on 19 June 2016, and it is free to register your team for the tournament.

Team composition is locked for the duration of the tournament, with a maximum roster size of eight players.

Matches are scheduled per week, with teams defaulting to weekend time slots if no match time is determined.

Founded in 2016, our vision at Eclipse Cup is to grow eSports in South Africa by giving the community a platform in which they will be able to compete against players with the same passion for their individual games.

Official competition dates are currently undetermined, although the tournament is expected to begin in early July.

Teams can register for the Eclipse Cup here.
