A recent presentation given by Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Andrew House revealed just how many people have a PlayStation Plus subscription.
Over 20.8 million people are currently subscribed to Sony’s paid-for service, the majority of which are PlayStation 4 gamers.
This is a massive jump from the reported 10.9 milllion subscribers announced by Sony in January 2015.
This makes up around a third of PlayStation’s active 60 million players across the three consoles.
In addition to access to the PS4’s online services, PS Plus offers a number of free games each month, the next of which are expected to be announced before the end of this week.
