Bethesda built a real-life BFG from DOOM

Bethesda has 3D-printed a 1:1 scale model of the BFG from DOOM.

The BFG is the biggest and most badass gun in the game, and is constantly featured throughout the DOOM franchise – even appearing in the DOOM film.

The model was 3D-printed by MyMiniFactory, who specialise in manufacturing and 3D-printing scale models.

The gun is ridiculously large and unwieldy, measuring 50cm wide, 50cm tall, and over a metre in length.

Bethesda provided the manufacturers with the actual game asset of the BFG, allowing them to create an exact replica of the weapon.
