MyGaming weekly roundup (31 Jan – 6 Feb)

The past week was loaded with news of upcoming games; new games were announced and details of titles soon to launch were revealed, such as DRM, system requirements and features. Sony continued their battle against PS3 hackers, but the hackers seem undeterred. Sticking with the tongue-in-cheek attitude of upcoming Bulletstorm, EA released an advertorial game parodying rival Activision’s Call of Duty franchise. A Bulletstorm dev also dropped a logic bomb in the middle of the ever raging console fan wars. Some interesting CODBLOPS statistics were released by Treyarch, making one wonder just what gamers could achieve if they collectively focused on something like a cure for cancer.

On the local front, AMD revealed their plans to boost their presence in South Africa, and local game development community website Dev.Mag was has been relaunched.
