Telkom terminates uncapped Do Gaming ADSL add-on

MyGaming recently reported on the massive damage caused by Telkom saboteurs.

It looks like the damage is set to continue, as over 50,000 Telkom users experienced serious network failure on the afternoon of 30 August.

Over 50,000 customers were left without voice and data connectivity when saboteurs cut Telkom’s fibre cables in the Roedtan, Nylstroom, and Potgieterus areas.

Telkom is working to fix the problem and services should be back online early this evening.

Telkom has experienced an increase in acts of sabotage since the beginning of the CWU strike over four weeks ago, it said.

It recently offered a reward of R1 million for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of individuals involved in the sabotage.

Anyone with information can contact the Telkom crime line on 0800 124 000.
