
Bioshock is a strong contender for MyGaming’s top spot in our list of the best games released over the past five years.
Combining a truly compelling and unique concept with a rich and dynamic story line, an incredible emersion factor and solid game play, the game really did push things to a new level in terms of what can be done with video games.
By default then, Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams is one of our most anticipated games of this year.
We were therefore very excited to hear about a new website that has been launched in anticipation of the upcoming sequel – www.somethinginthesea.com.
The site gives subtle hints at what we can expect from Sea of Dreams, with the repeated theme of a little girl being abducted by a tall helmet wearing creature.
Bioshock tool place in the year 1960, but a rendered newspaper clipping on the sight bears the date 1967, indicating that events in the sequel will take place seven years after the original. The developers however have not confirmed exactly when the Sea of Dreams will take place.
Bioshock: Sea of Dreams will be coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.
